Bev Potts, as our Administrative Assistant, keeps us running on a day to day basis. She schedules events, records financial data, sets-up meeting, records minutes, and keeps us organized. She works closely with our Treasurer, Stated Clerk, General Presbyter and Committee Chairs.

The Muskingum Valley Presbytery office is nested inside the Uhrichsville First Presbyterian Church at 633 N. Main St., Uhrichsville, OH. 444683
Office hours are M – TH 8:30am – 4:00pm (Friday’s vary). There may be moments when the office is closed, for routine trips to the bank, post office, or PTO days, etc. Since those moments can vary from day to day, it is best to call before visiting. If you come to the office, and the doors are locked, please call the Administrative Assistant for help.
Rev. Matthew J. Skolnik, our General Presbyter, is charged by the Council to implement the vision and mission of MVP.
He frequently leads worship in our churches, provides training, supports PNCs, develops sessions, resources MVP committees, and keeps us moving forward.
Matt values mission engagement, healthy relationships and systems within congregations, and enjoys working with churches who are interested in taking their next steps in faith.

Tim Pollock (CRE) , our Stated Clerk, oversees the official business and processes of the presbytery, interprets the Book of Order, and answers questions regarding polity.

Council and Administration are Spiritual Leaders who work together to oversee the vision, ministries and mission of MVP.Council & Administration
Parish Elders oversee relationships between churches and their pastors.
If you are working to call a pastor, need help encouraging your pastor or need an intervention our Parish Elders are your go to people.
The Calling Commission helps individuals who feel a call to pastoral ministry.
The two main pathways to serve in pastoral ministry are seminary trained individuals who go through the inquiry and candidacy processes, and elders who are trained to be Commissioned Ruling Elders (CREs).
